RSS and artificial intelligence - what is actually true?
RSS fits automated systems well because feeds are structured and machine-readable. That does not mean AI systems automatically prefer them.

Why RSS is technically useful
A feed contains titles, links, dates and content in a predictable form. That makes it convenient for scripts, readers, monitoring and internal tools.
AI-assisted workflows can use feeds when they are explicitly allowed to access them and technically configured to do so.
What does not follow from that
RSS does not automatically mean that ChatGPT, search engines or other AI systems read, prefer or train on a feed.
Whether a system uses content depends on access, product features, indexing, rights, robots rules and many other decisions.
The sober version
RSS is not magical AI visibility. It is a good open data format for current content.
That is exactly why it remains interesting: it makes content easier to access without creating false promises.
